Content Specialist Intern

Pay: $16 per hour

Job Location: Athens, AL

Hours: Can be negotiated based on availability (not to exceed 30 hours/week)

Ridgeline Construction HSV, Inc. is a customer focused roofing and exterior contractor that has been in business over 10 years. Ridgeline is a family-owned and operated business that takes pride in helping customers.

We are currently seeking a Content Specialist Intern who will report to the Marketing Director and will be responsible for creating engaging social media content and occasional blog posts. You will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with the Marketing Director. You will learn hands-on about general marketing, lead generation, Google My Business, SEO, Google Analytics, website design, community marketing, and more. The Content Specialist may also have opportunities to represent the company by attending local events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, or similar area of study
  • Working knowledge of all social media platforms (Meta, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube, TikTok, etc)
  • Experience with cameras, making videos, and using editing software
  • Knowledge and experience with Canva Pro
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to appropriately represent the company
  • Completing all tasks assigned by Marketing Director

Permit Processor – Tampa, FL

Job Description:

  • Ridgeline Construction is currently searching for a detail oriented candidate to assist in the permit processes needed in order to complete roofing/construction-based projects.

General Responsibilities

  • Organize and pull all permits needed for projects
  • Clarify all permits are paid for
  • Call, schedule, and record inspections
  • Ensure inspections are followed through and finalized.
  • Assist in administrative and technical work
  • Interacts with developers, contractors, and general public on related permitting and building issues
  • Aid in all paperwork needed to ensure a project is being completed properly
  • Keep up with general state ordinances and codes

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of record keeping and reporting
  • Must be organized
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, departments, government officials, and the public
  • Ability to prepare and compose clear and concise letters and reports.
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of construction processes and in-progress timelines related to building/construction projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $15.00 per hour


Metal Roofer – Athens, AL

Job Summary

  • We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working candidate with experience in Metal Roofing. Candidates must be able to pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check. Candidates will also have access to hours, benefits, and PTO. Pay is based on experience and can be raised after evaluation periods.

General Accountabilities

  • Perform the cutting of sheet metal
  • Assist in lifting sheet metal to roofers on roof
  • Carryout the repair and maintenance of metal roofs, gutters, etc.
  • Attend a variety of sites to perform jobs
  • Cut and join sheet metal
  • Assist in safely installing steel roofs
  • Metal sheet/ Cladding work

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass an MVR check
  • Roofing experience
  • General construction knowledge & experience
  • Experience using various hand tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures

Hardie and Vinyl Siding Crews Wanted!

Ridgeline Construction is seeking experienced crews in both Hardie and vinyl siding to assist in all roofing projects. Subcontractors must be able to provide their own insurance such as Workers Compensation and General Liability. Pay is based on job.

MUST HAVE OWN TRUCK, TOOLS & EQUIPMENT, LABOR TEAM AND APPLICABLE INSURANCES AS REQUIRED

Requirements

  • Knowledge in board and batten siding
  • Knowledge in lap siding
  • Experience in soffit installation
  • Able to provide own transportation
  • Able to provide general liability and workers compensation
  • Must be reliable and punctual

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs duties in compliance with all safety measures and government regulations.
  • Upon completion of the job, double checks all work to ensure quality and cleans the job site thoroughly.
  • Install siding materials to meet manufacturer specifications
  • Select materials needed according to plans
  • Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines
  • Drill holes in various materials for screws, bolts, and rivets
  • Work with various fasteners including nails, screws, bolts, rivets, and glues
  • All other duties as assigned

Metal Installer Crews Wanted!

Ridgeline Construction is searching for crews specializing in metal roof installation. All contractors must be able to provide their own insurance. This includes Workers Compensation and General Liability.

MUST HAVE OWN TRUCK, TOOLS & EQUIPMENT, LABOR TEAM AND APPLICABLE INSURANCES AS REQUIRED

Requirements

  • Must have experience in working with standing seam metal roofs in both commercial and residential jobs.
  • Experience with Sheet Metal, Single-Ply roofing, BUR/Modified roofing, Standing Seam, Coating, or other metal/commercial roofing systems.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
  • Ability to work safely at various heights
